How to prune branches with a
chainsaw:
1. When trimming, cut the mouth first, and then cut the upper mouth to prevent the saw from being caught.
2. When cutting, the branches below should be cut first. Heavy or large branches should be cut in sections.
3. When operating, hold the operating handle with the right hand, hold the handle with the left hand naturally, and keep the arm as straight as possible. The angle between the machine and the ground should not exceed 60 degrees, but the angle should not be too low, otherwise it will not be easy to operate.
4. In order to avoid damaging the bark, the machine rebounding or the saw chain being clamped, when cutting the thick bark, first saw an unloading incision on the lower side, that is, cut an arc-shaped incision under the end of the guide plate.
5. If the diameter of the branch is more than 10 cm, first make a pre-cut, make an unloading cut and a cut off about 20 to 30 cm from the desired cut, and then cut it there with a branch saw.
